Looking for a list of iPads that are compatible with iPadOS 27? Apple’s iPadOS 27 brings new features and fixes to the iPad lineup, but not all devices are supported. Check this list here to make sure that your iPad can work just fine with the latest software and to find out if it’s finally time to upgrade to a new model.
Apple normally ensures that as many iPads as possible can install the latest software, but there is always going to be a point at which it’s time to move on.

In the case of the iPadOS 27 update, Apple has dropped support for some models. That means these iPads will be stuck on iOS 26.x, while we can expect new security updates to be released as and when they are needed.
The following iPads are supported by iPadOS 27:
- iPad Pro (M4 and later)
- iPad Pro 12.9‑inch (4th generation and later)
