iPadOS 26.4 Final Version Released Alongside visionOS 26.4, tvOS 26.4, watchOS 26.4, macOS 26.4

Apple has today released new versions of the software that powers its devices, including the iPhone. Apple device owners can now download the final version of iPadOS 26.4 alongside visionOS 26.4, tvOS 26.4, watchOS 26.4, and macOS 26.4.

All of these updates are now available as free downloads for those with compatible devices, and we recommend installing the updates to ensure you have the latest bug and security fixes.

In terms of new features, however, these releases bring a few new features to the table. We still expect a few more updates before Apple unveils iOS 27 at WWDC in June, and that’s when the big new additions will come to Apple’s platforms.

iPadOS 26.4

The new iPadOS 26.4 update can be download via the Settings app and brings with it a few new features. Apple Music adds a new Apple Intelligence feature that can create a playlist from a user’s description, for example. Eight new emoji are also added to the mix, among other improvements.

macOS 26.4, watchOS 26.4, visionOS 26.4, and tvOS 26.4

Apple Mac, Apple Watch, Apple Vision Pro, and Apple TV updates are also now available for download by the public. You can get these updates via the usual mechanism, whether that’s the System Settings app on the Mac, the Watch app on the iPhone for the Apple Watch, or the Settings app elsewhere.

The new updates include similar features to the iPad and iPhone, but all eyes are on the future WWDC unveilings of 2027’s big new software releases for the real big feature updates.
