Looking to get an idea about when the iOS 27 beta 3 download is expected and when the release date will be? Here’s what you need to know as an iPhone user.
When Apple announced the iOS 27 software update during the WWDC opening keynote on June 8, the company immediately released the first developer beta.
We’ve since seen the release of the second beta, and next will be the beta 3 release. Apple has yet to confirm when that will be made available, but the smart money is on iOS 27 beta 3 being ready for download on July 6.
That same date is also possibly going to be when the iOS 27 public beta will be released to the public, and that’s likely the version that we would recommend that members of the public install.
We don’t know for sure that the public beta will be released on July 6, but Apple has already confirmed that it would be released in July. Developer beta 3 is also often when the first public beta is made available for download.
Apple has confirmed that it will release the iOS 27 update to the public this fall. We expect that to be around the first two weeks of September, based on previous years, just before the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max go on sale.
