If you’re looking for the iOS 26 beta 6 download and expected release date, here’s what you need to know as an iPhone or iPad user.
Apple is now set on releasing a new beta version of iOS 26 every couple of weeks or so, with beta 5 having been pushed to developers on August 5. The public beta is now also underway as we work our way closer to that expected mid-September release date.

Apple has not yet confirmed when it intends to release the sixth iOS 26 developer beta, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t make an educated guess on when that is likely to happen. Assuming that Apple sticks to its current two-week release cadence, we should expect that it will release iOS 26 beta 6 on or around August 19.
While we don’t yet know what this new beta release will improve in terms of features and stability, performance and stability upgrades are sure to be part of this version.
The latest beta is undoubtedly the best to date, but there is still a long way to go. For that reason, we suggest that you keep in mind that this is indeed beta software. That means that bugs should be expected until Apple releases the final version of iOS 26 to the public.
