iOS 18.6 Release Candidate Now Available To Download

After releasing beta 3 of iOS 18.6 just last week, Apple has today made available to download iOS 18.6 Release Candidate to developers.

Apple also released Release Candidate versions of iPadOS 18.6, visionOS 2.6, macOS 15.6, tvOS 18.6 and watchOS 11.6 alongside the aforementioned iOS 18.6.

To download these updates, you can head over to Settings > General > Software Update section of the device itself and grab the updates from there.

As for what’s new in these updates, as far as iOS 18.6 goes, there’s honestly no notable new features to write home about. There are some minor changes like changes to the App Store in the EU because DMA but other than that, these updates mainly focus on smaller changes and bug fixes to improve the overall experience ahead of v26 updates coming in the Fall.

Apple will likely release final version of iOS 18.6 and others next week to everyone. Apple is also expected to release first public beta of v26, and developer beta 4 of v26 sometime this week. We will of course report on it if and when they are available to download.
