How To Find Your Uber Passenger Rating

Here’s how you can find out your secret Uber passenger rating in a few easy steps. More details on how to do so can be found right here.

Uber may be well known for how passengers can rate their drivers for a ride they’ve hitched using the service, but cheekily enough, the driver is able to rate his passengers as well. And in case you’re wondering why you’ve been rejected by so many Uber drivers, then it’s probably because you have a bad passenger rating, and it’s pretty easy to find out where you stand on a scale of 1 to 5.

Uber’s rating system is pretty straight-forward, and is based on a scale of 1 to 5 stars, as we mentioned above, so if you find a five star driver, you may want to be on your best behavior because his opinion about you matters, and so does the opinion of all other drivers you’ve hitched a ride with. Most Uber passengers are unaware that at the end of the journey it is not just them that can rate the driver, but the driver’s app will pop up a message requiring a rating for your pleasant personality as well; a rating you have no clue about. Drop it too low, and you will find yourself sticking to the usual taxi services. This mutual rating system, as explained by Uber, highlights the “two-way street” that the relationship between the driver and passenger is.

Luckily, there’s a way to check your passenger ratings on Uber, and it is as simple as emailing Uber’s customer support services, and inquiring about your current ratings on the service. Provide them with the email address and phone number registered to your account in that email, Uber will get back to you on the matter.

Step 1: First and foremost, navigate to: support.uber.com

Step 2: Scroll down and click on ‘Submit a support request.’

Step 3: You’ll now be presented with a form asking your email address, subject, description of the query, city etc. Fill it up asking for your Uber passenger rating. Make sure you use the email address and phone number associated with your Uber account.

Step 4: Hit the ‘Submit’ button at the end of the form and Uber will get back to you as soon as they can.

Access to such information is a public right in the U.K. protected by the Data Protection Act, so companies are required by law to provide users with any information they might have on them. While Uber will provide you with this information in the U.S. as well without any questions asked, there is no countrywide law that requires companies to divulge information of such a nature.
