Apple is expected to announce its first foldable iPhone later this year, and a new leak claims to have given us our best look yet at what the so-called iPhone Fold will look like.
Oft-reliable leaker Sonny Dickson has shared a photo of dummy units that are claimed to represent the iPhone Fold, iPhone 18 Pro, and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

The first thing that most will note is the iPhone Fold’s squat, almost passport-sized form factor. When unfolded, the device will have a 7.8-inch display similar to that of the iPad mini.
This form factor means that, when closed, the iPhone Fold will be much wider than a traditional iPhone. It now also appears that, when folded, the iPhone Fold will measure around 9.5mm, while it will be just 5mm thick when opened.
That will make it the thinnest iPhone ever. Closed, it will be slightly thicker than the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, but not so much as to make it too thick.

It’s also important to remember that we are still months away from the iPhone Fold’s expected September unveiling. It then likely won’t go on sale until later in 2026. Until Apple unveils its first foldable iPhone, it’s impossible to know how accurate these leaks are.
