Google has confirmed that it will announce the Pixel 10 series of phones on August 20, a full month before Apple will likely show off its iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro devices.
This year’s event will be held in New York rather than the company’s California facility, with a live stream being provided on Google’s YouTube channel starting at 10 a.m. PT/ 1 p.m. ET.

Android Central reports that Google has teased the unveiling of its new “Pixel phones, watches, buds, and more” during the event. It’s expected that the phone lineup will consist of a new Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
Fans of smartwatches can expect Google to show off the Pixel Watch 4 running WearOS 6 at the same time. Rumors have also pointed towards the Pixel Buds 2a being unveiled alongside new Pixel accessories called Pixel Snap. That lineup is expected to include a new charger, charging stand, and a ring stand.
Apple is expected to announce its own new phones and smartwatches at an event in September, although the company has yet to confirm it.

The iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max are likely to be joined by a new Apple Watch Series 11 and an Apple Watch Ultra 3 model if rumors are to be believed. We expect Apple to confirm the event date once September rolls around.
