The Emirates airline has announced plans to bring ultra-fast wireless connectivity to its global range of wide-body aircraft via integration with Starlink.
In a press release shared on Monday, Emirates confirmed that it will deploy Starlink-powered Wi-FI across its entire fleet, beginning with the Boeing 777 aircraft.

The rollout will begin this month. “The complimentary, ultra-fast service delivers ground-quality internet at cruising altitude, reinforcing the airline’s long-standing commitment to industry-leading inflight connectivity,” the press release said.
By adding Starlink Wi-Fi to its flights, Emirates will allow its customers to stream content, make calls, and even play games while in the air. The connection will be available via the seat-back entertainment system as well as the customer’s personal devices, Emirates says.
Emirates plans to install Starlink on all its in-service fleet – comprising 232 aircraft in the next two years. The airline has already equipped its first aircraft with Starlink on A6-EPF, the Boeing 777-300ER currently on display at the Dubai Airshow, where visitors can experience high-speed connectivity firsthand while on the ground.
Emirates will install two antennae on each Boeing 777 aircraft, as well as an industry-first three-antenna system on its Airbus A380 aircraft. “Emirates will also make Live TV over Starlink available, initially on personal devices and then on seatback screens from late December 2025,” the press release explains.
Notably, the Starlink connectivity will be free for all customers across all cabins on its Emirates flights with Starlink enabled.
