As mentioned above, Apple has released iOS 26.2 beta 2 as it continues the beta program towards the final release of this latest update.

If you’re a registered developer you can now download the iOS 26.2 beta 2 update for your own device via either the OTA method (from Settings > General > Software Update section) or by downloading the IPSW file and updating via iTunes or Finder. We also expect that a public beta release will follow shortly.
However, it’s important to remember that this is beta software and that bugs and issues are to be expected. For that reason alone, we suggest only installing iOS 26.2 beta 2 on devices that you do not rely on.
We don’t yet know what Apple has added with iOS 26.2 beta 2, but the first beta brought with it a number of improvements, including AirPods Live Translation now available in the European Union. Liquid Glass receiving a Lock Screen slider controller that allows users to adjust the translucency of the screen. The Reminders app gaining alarms and timers. The Apple News app in iOS 26.2 undergoing a redesign. Apple modifying the Sleep Score feature for sleep tracking with Very High replacing Excellent as the highest category, and the thresholds for each category have changed. Apple’s AI enhancing the Apple Podcasts app experience with iOS 26.2, with the app now automatically generating chapters, link to referenced podcasts, and collect show links.
