Apple has today released the final version of watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and HomePod OS 26 available for download following months of testing. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Apple Watch, Apple TV, and HomePod software.
Apple announced the watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and HomePod OS 26 software updates during the June WWDC event alongside iOS 26 and other releases, but they are only now being rolled out to the public.

All of these updates are now ready for the public, and hopefully any lingering bugs have been dealt with. Apple is now rolling out the new software updates globally, and we can expect further iOS 26 updates over the coming months.
watchOS 26
The watchOS 26 software update brings with it a new Liquid Glass look, similar to that of the iOS 26 update and others. The update can be downloaded and installed via the Watch app on your iPhone — those with automatic updates enabled might already have it queued and ready to go.
tvOS 26
The tvOS 26 software update can be installed via the Settings app on the Apple TV, but it doesn’t add any big new features for downloaders to look forward to. There are some smaller additions, though, including a reworked Apple TV app and more.
HomePod OS 26
The HomePod software updates are always opaque, with few details shared about what’s new, and this new release is no different. The update can be installed via the Home app, but don’t expect any big new features like Apple Intelligence, unfortunately.
