Download: Beta 4 Of iPadOS 26, macOS 26, tvOS 26, watchOS 26, And visionOS 26 Out Now

Apple has today released beta 4 versions of iPadOS 26, macOS 26, tvOS 26, watchOS 26, and visionOS 26. These updates arrived two weeks after the third beta was released, which itself arrived two weeks after the second. You can download them all right now, assuming you’re a registered developer.

Apple announced all of these software updates during its June 9 WWDC event and confirmed that they will be released to the public this fall.

But for now, those who want to see what Apple has been working on will need to install these beta versions. It’s important to remember that these betas are still likely to be full of bugs and other oddities, though, so don’t install them on devices that you rely on.

iPadOS 26

The iPadOS 26 update can be downloaded via the Settings app and includes the new Liquid Glass interface language as well as updated features and apps across the board. It also revamps the way multitasking works on the iPad (again), which will allow real window management for power users for the first time.

macOS 26

Developers can install the macOS 26 beta 4 update via the System Settings app right now. It includes the same Liquid Glass refresh as the rest of the Apple lineup, as well as updates to Apple Intelligence and more. Keep in mind that betas are likely to be impacted by bugs and poor performance, even as we work our way to a final release.

tvOS 26

The tvOS 26 update is smaller and less interesting than the rest, but if you must install it, you can get it via the Settings app right now. Among the smaller updates are changes to the Apple TV app interface, but we wouldn’t rush to install this update until it’s ready for the public.

watchOS 26

Apple has tweaked the watchOS interface to match the Liquid Glass look and feel found elsewhere. If you want to update your Apple Watch to this third beta, download it via the Watch app on your iPhone. It’s vital to remember that any Apple Watch that fails due to a beta update will need to be sent to Apple for repair — you cannot downgrade watchOS at home, unfortunately.

visionOS 26

Like most of the Apple lineup, the Apple Vision Pro can be updated via the Settings app. The new update adds persistent widgets for the first time, among other things, but remember that this is a beta release, and bugs are likely. For that reason, we suggest hanging on until visionOS 26 is released to the public this fall.
