Big news for Mac gamers, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is finally out for macOS! CD Projekt Red just dropped it with full support for Apple silicon Macs, and it’s not a lazy port.
It’s Metal-optimized and tuned for everything from the base M1 (with 16GB RAM) all the way up to the latest M4 models.

The game comes bundled with everything: the base game starring Keanu Reeves, the Phantom Liberty expansion featuring Idris Elba, and all updates, including the fresh 2.3 update with new quests, vehicles, AutoDrive, and Photo Mode extras. It even includes Ray Tracing for M3 chips and up, yep, on Mac.
Depending on your chip, the game adjusts resolution and settings dynamically with a “For this Mac” preset. That means smoother gameplay without you having to fiddle with graphics sliders.
Macs with beefier chips like the M3 Pro, M3 Max, M4 Max, or M2 Ultra can even run it at 60 FPS in high-res settings. Plus, it supports HDR on compatible displays and Spatial Audio with AirPods.
Minimum requirements? macOS 15.5+, 16GB RAM, and about 92GB to 149GB of space depending on where you download it from (GOG, Epic, Steam, or Mac App Store). Oh, and there’s a sweet 53% off deal on GOG right now until July 23.
If you already own it on any of those stores, good news — you can download it on your Mac for free.
