Check iPhone 5s Apple Store Stock With This Handy Online Tool

Waiting for an iPhone to come into stock at your local Apple Store is something we wouldn’t want to wish on our worst enemies. The constant refreshing, the checking of different stores and the waiting game that never seems to end are all things that we have done when Apple hasn’t been able to keep up with demand for a new iPhone. The iPhone 5s is no different.

If hitting the Apple website half a dozen times a day isn’t your idea of fun, then a new tool created by developer Mordy Tikotzky may be just what you’re looking for.

iPhone 5s space grey

A US-only affair, the tool goes off and checks iPhone 5s stock at your local Apple Stores based on some information that you provide. For starters you’ll need to give the tool your location, as well as your preferred carrier and iPhone model. Then, you’ll receive a list of local Apple Stores that have stock of whatever color iPhone you want, as well as the storage options available.

Of course, the big question that we have revolves around how accurate this data is. Tikotzky says that the data comes from Apple’s online stock checker, so it should be just as accurate as visiting Apple.com and doing the legwork yourself, except for all the clicking and choosing different stores time and time again.

Apple’s iPhone 5s has seen severe stock shortages since it went on sale a couple of weeks ago, and with shipping times offering no more information than a vague ‘October’ time scale, getting lucky and finding an actual store with stock might be a better bet than playing the waiting game with an online order.

At the end of the day it all depends on your ability to wait, but if you’re as impatient as us then you’ll need all the help you can get.

Want to get started right away? Simply point your browser to this link: iphone-check.herokuapp.com but we’re somewhat sure that you’ll also be out of luck for a while. We got an all red on major Apple Stores on all Gold iPhone 5s models, but Space Grey was available – as you can see from the chart above.

Best of luck!
