ChatGPT Health Launches With Support For Apple Health

Open AI, the company behind the ChatGPT chatbot, has announced a new feature that is capable of integrating with Apple Health. Dubbed ChatGPT Health, the feature offers users a way to ask health-related questions beyond the standard ChatGPT interface.

The feature, announced today, is “a dedicated experience that securely brings your health information and ChatGPT’s intelligence together, to help you feel more informed, prepared, and confident navigating your health.”

According to the announcement post on the OpenAI website, more than 230 million people globally ask ChatGPT health and wellness questions each week. “ChatGPT Health builds on this so responses are informed by your health information and context,” the announcement explains.

The new feature will be able to integrate with Apple Health, Function, and MyFitnessPal” so ChatGPT can help you understand recent test results, prepare for appointments with your doctor, get advice on how to approach your diet and workout routine, or understand the tradeoffs of different insurance options based on your healthcare patterns.”

The new ChatGPT Health feature is rolling out to a small group of users right now, while people can sign up for the waitlist if they want to test it out.

Users with ChatGPT Free, Go, Plus, and Pro plans outside of the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom are eligible for the new feature, OpenAI says.
