Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Finally Launches On Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 & PC

MW3

Dubbed “the most anticipated video game in history” by GameStop’s Senior VP of merchandising, Bob McKenzie, it kicks off pretty much from where Modern Warfare 2 left off, but if we're honest, most gamers are looking to pwn some n00bs in multiplayer mode and check out the perks system, which has been much improved.

Despite not being a direct sequel to Black OPS, it certainly has large shoes to fill in terms of sales, with the last installment from Activision becoming the fastest selling game of all time - a pretty amazing feat considering the decades-long legacy of gaming on various platforms. No matter what your favorite game is - whether you're more into the EA titles or prefer the old-school gems - it cannot be denied that the Call of Duty franchise has impacted the gaming world like no other.

Having already tested the title with the U.K. release falling at 0:00 BST on the 8th, I've been fortunate enough to try it out, and all I have to add is, if Call Of Duty ever had any critics, they'll have to stand well and truly silenced. The various parties involved in developing Modern Warfare 3 have really stepped up to the plate, and if you love FPS with tactics, good maps, and a seemingly limitless arsenal of weapons, it doesn't get any better than this!

Producers Activision are also offering a “Call of Duty Elite” option, which, for $50 a year allows gamers to connect with others to manage load-outs plan Clan matches, access stats and interactive heat maps from their game console, the web or a mobile device.

Friday Night Fights kicks off this Friday, (November 11th) on Call of Duty Elite TV , and features real-life rivals battling it out on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer. Unfortunately, due to the unexpectedly large number of signups, there have been a few first-day outages. If you have been experiencing any issues, it's advised that you stay tuned to the @CallofDutyElite Twitter page for updates.

Those of you who've made the purchased the title, enjoy! But remember - nobody likes a camper!
