Apple has announced a new subscription offering that will see iCloud+ customers gain access to more of its services across more than 100 countries.
In those countries, iCloud+ subscribers can play Apple Arcade games, watch Apple TV content, and enjoy Apple Music stations at no extra charge.
The new approach includes all paid iCloud+ plans and extends to family sharing, so up to six people will benefit from the new features. However, Apple’s home country, the United States, and many of its biggest-selling regions are not included.
“We’re excited to bring Apple TV and Apple Arcade to iCloud+ users in over 100 countries in one convenient subscription,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services and Health. “iCloud+ users can now securely store and share personal content across their devices, enjoy the absolute best in original storytelling from Apple TV, and explore an incredible lineup of hundreds of games through Apple Arcade.”
Apple announced the news via a press release in the countries where the new iCloud+ benefits will be available.
