If you’re waiting for Apple to release a Blu-ray version of its popular F1: The Movie, you’re in luck.
We now know when it will be available and a Limited Edition Steelbook will also be offered.

While F1 is already available to buy digitally, the Blu-ray version will officially go on sale on October 7. It’s already available for preorder in standard Blu-ray, a 4K Ultra HD version, and the Limited Edition Steelbook version that gets you the 4K version of the movie.
All versions of the Blu-ray also come with a code so that the digital version of the movie can be redeemed, and there is a handful of special features included for buyers to look forward to:
- Inside the F1 The Movie Table Read
- The Anatomy of a Crash
- Getting Up to Speed
- APXGP Innovations
- Making It to Silverstone
- Lewis Hamilton: Producer
- APXGP Sets and Locations
- Around the World
- APXGP and F1: How It Was Filmed
- Sound of Speed
It’s not yet confirmed when F1 will be available to stream for free on Apple TV+, but it’s likely to happen before the holidays roll around.
The movie stars Brad Pitt as an aging racing driver who makes a return to the Formula 1 track to teach the rookies a thing or two. It’s proven hugely popular since its theatrical release.
