Apple’s iPhone Duo goes on sale later this week, and reviews have been released today. One tidbit from one of those reviews is the news that Apple’s Reachability feature will come to the iPhone Duo at an unspecified time, “later this year.”
While Apple has yet to confirm the news, Wired‘s review details the addition of the accessibility feature.

“Apple plans to add Reachability later this year for the Duo, letting folks with small hands more easily access the left or right edges of the screen with a tap,” reviewer Julian Chokkattu says.
Reachability is a feature that allows iPhone users to swipe down slightly on the display to move the interface lower, making it easier to reach controls that are in the top corners. This is something that can clearly be useful for iPhone Duo owners.
The shorter, squatter shape of the iPhone Duo’s external display means that reaching the far side could be problematic for those with smaller hands. Reachability would surely help here.
The iPhone Duo is now available for preorder with prices starting at $1,999 for the 256GB model. Preorders sold out almost immediately when they began on October 16, with expected delivery timeframes now stretching into 2027. The iPhone Duo officially goes on sale this Friday, October 23.
