In a strange move today, Apple has rebranded its paid Apple TV+ subscription service to simply Apple TV. As you may know, Apple already has a set-top box hardware named Apple TV and so it seems Apple is about rebrand that as well sometime this week?
Here’s what Apple says about rebranding of the Apple TV+ service:

Apple TV+ is now simply Apple TV, with a vibrant new identity. Ahead of its global streaming debut on Apple TV, the film continues to be available for purchase on participating digital platforms, including the Apple TV app, Amazon Prime Video, Fandango at Home and more.
Alongside this announcement, Apple has also announced streaming release date for F1 The Movie, which is now set to debut for paid Apple TV subscribers on December 12.

For those of you who don’t know, F1 The Movie released in cinemas back in June this year and was re-released in IMAX again in end of July to start of August due to popular demand. It became available to buy or rent on digital later in August, and it recently arrived in Blu-ray and DVD as well.
And now with today’s announcement, F1 The Movie will stream exclusively on Apple TV subscription service (previously called Apple TV+) starting on Friday, December 12.
