Apple Launches Four More (PRODUCT)RED Edition Accessories, Here Are The Details

Apple has today announced that once again it will be supporting the (RED) campaign which helps to support the fight against HIV/AIDS. The company has done exactly that for the past decade and continues to throw its weight behind what we can all agree is a very worthy cause.

Continuing the tradition of past years, Apple has changed the white Apple logo above its Apple Store entrances to a fetching red color whilst also offering various (PRODUCT)RED items across both its Apple Stores and the App Store for World AIDS day.

To that end, the company has shared a list of twenty apps and games which will, for a limited time, feature special (RED) branded in-app purchases – something that developers have taken part in during past years as well.

The 20 participating games include – deep breath –  Angry Birds 2, Angry Birds POP!, Best Fiends, Best Fiends Forever, Boom Beach, Candy Crush Jelly Saga, Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, CSR2, Episode, Farm Heroes Saga, FarmVille: Tropic Escape, FIFA Mobile, Hay Day, MARVEL Contest of Champions, PewDiePie’s Tuber Simulator, Plants vs. Zombies Heroes, SimCity BuildIt, War Dragons and YAHTZEE With Buddies.

As you may have guessed, that’s not all.

Alongside software, Apple has also added four new accessories to its growing lineup of special edition (PRODUCT)RED items including an iPhone 7 Smart Battery Case, an iPhone SE Case, a pair of Beats Solo3 Wireless On-Ear Headphones and the Beats Pill+ Portable Speaker. All of these are available starting today, so be sure to pick one up whilst both stocks and their limited numbers remain.

For those who like their music, a special album is also available from the iTunes Store.

The Killers’ holiday album, Don’t Waste Your Wishes, is exclusively available on iTunes featuring all 10 of their holiday singles, as well as a new track, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” with 100 percent of the proceeds in the US going to the Global Fund.

Every (RED) purchase contributes directly to the global fund to fight AIDS. In addition to all this, the company will also donate $1 to (RED) for every purchase made with Apple Pay at its retail and online stores, including Apple Store app, up to a total of $1 million.

Apple has long been a big supporter of the (RED) campaign, and has been able to raise a staggering $350M for the charity over the past decade.
