Apple says that it expects a bumper December quarter, thanks in part to the strong performance of the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air lineups.
Apple CEO Tim Cook shared the news during the fourth fiscal 2025 quarter earnings call, saying that sales are strong across the board.

“We are incredibly excited about the strength we’re seeing across our products and services,” Cook reportedly said. “We expect the December quarter revenue to be the best ever for the company and the best ever for iPhone.” Overall revenue is expected to grow 10 to 12 percent year over year, while iPhone revenue is expected to grow double digits.
There had been rumors that Apple’s iPhone Air had proven to be a disappointing seller. Initial reports of sellouts across China fly in the face if believe that iPhone Air buyers have been few and far between. However, similar stories are often reported for the iPhone’s middle child, like the iPhone 16 Plus and precious iPhone mini releases.
Apple set a new record for revenue in the quarter that ended this September. Its results were a 6% increase year-over-year at a record $49 billion.
Cook believes that Apple is heading into the holiday season with a strong lineup as well as its “biggest leap ever for iPhone”.
He also said that there has been a strong response to the new devices, despite the usual supply constraints that have made it difficult to buy some configurations in recent weeks.
