Apple has officially announced that its annual developer event, WWDC 2026, will run from June 8 through June 12. Like recent years, the conference will be mostly online and free for all developers to attend.
The event kicks off with Apple’s keynote on June 8 at 10:00 a.m. PT, where the company is expected to unveil its next wave of software updates, including:

- iOS 27
- iPadOS 27
- macOS 27
- watchOS 27
- tvOS 27
- visionOS 27
While the experience is largely digital, Apple is once again hosting a limited in person event on June 8 at Apple Park. Selected developers and students will get to watch the keynote live, attend sessions, meet Apple teams, and explore the campus.
Attendance for the in person portion is limited, with spots offered through a lottery. Eligible applicants include Apple Developer Program members, past Swift Student Challenge winners, and Apple Entrepreneur Camp participants. Applications are open until March 30.
As usual, WWDC will feature a packed schedule of online sessions and labs, giving developers a closer look at new features and tools, along with guidance on integrating them into apps. The keynote and sessions will be streamed through the Apple Developer app, Apple’s website, and YouTube.
In short, mark your calendar. WWDC week is when Apple shows its software hand for the year, and June 8 is where the story begins.
