A ‘Special Apple Experience’ Will Take Place On March 4

Apple is set to hold a special event on March 4, with the company inviting members of the press to events around the world. The company says the event will be a “special Apple Experience,” suggesting that it may be different from the usual pre-announcement hands-on events.

9to5Mac reports that one event will be held in New York City, while others will also take place in Shanghai and London. However, Apple has not confirmed what the event will entail.

Despite Apple’s lack of information, the company is expected to announce a number of new products within the coming weeks and months. A recent Bloomberg report claimed that Apple was planning a new MacBook Air powered by an A18 Pro chip rather than an M-series chip. A new M5 MacBook Air, as well as M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pro laptops, are also expected sooner or later.

Alongside the new Macs, Apple is also thought to be planning to launch new displays, although details on those are hard to come by.

Away from the Mac, early 2026 is expected to see Apple announce an M4-powered iPad Air as well as an entry-level iPad with an A18 chip. The iPhone 17e is also expected to launch in the first few months of this year.

On the software side, Apple is expected to launch the first developer beta of iOS 26.4 soon, while a revamped Siri powered by Google’s Gemini AI model is also expected before 2026 comes to a close.

It remains to be seen which of these Apple shows off on March 4, if indeed any of them.
