The iPhone Duo was announced earlier this month but won’t officially go on sale until October 23. Now, new StandBy features have been leaked after being discovered in Apple code, and these features have yet to be announced by Apple.
According to a 9to5Mac report, the iPhone Duo’s StandBy mode will have a number of different views that can be configured but were not shown off during Apple’s unveiling event.
The iPhone can be opened and flipped over to stand up on a surface, with StandBy mode available on the outer display. StandBy mode will offer big-screen clocks, a calendar, or the combination of the two. There will also be new views not previously shown, including the option to view a live feed of a camera from the Home app.
Another option will be Flow, which will display art of some description, but details are unclear currently. A Snoopy option is likely to be similar to Apple’s tvOS screensaver, the 9to5Mac report suggests.

Existing StandBy views already confirmed include Analog, Digital, Classic Calendar, Weather, Photos, Memories, Shared Albums, and Modular.
The iPhone Duo, Apple’s first foldable iPhone, will be available for preorder on October 16 before going on sale a week later. The device will start at $1,999 for the 256GB model, with other capacities also available.
