iOS 26 Beta Has A Secret Ringtone, Here’s What It Sounds Like

Apple’s iOS 26 software is currently in beta, which means some people are using it right now. One early iOS 26 user has spotted that there is a secret ringtone included, although it cannot be easily selected.

The new ringtone is a revamped version of the previous Reflection ringtone, which debuted back in 2017.

The unannounced ringtone was first spotted and shared on the X social network by @8810cfw, before being reshared by others and picked up by MacRumors. The post also included an audio recording of the new ringtone so you can check it out for yourself.

It’s unknown whether we should expect that this ringtone will be unlocked later in the iOS 26 beta cycle or if it is set to be removed later, but it’s currently there even if it can’t be used.

The iOS 26 update was announced at the WWDC event on June 9 before being immediately released in initial beta form for developers. A public beta is expected to be made available in July, while the full release is penciled in for this fall.

If Apple sticks to the release patterns of previous years, we can expect that iOS 26 will be made available to the public this September, alongside the new iPhone 17 handsets. It’s also thought that Apple will unveil at least one new Apple Watch around that time, too.
