If you’re trying to find some decent apps, the chances are you’re looking for both quality and value. Many apps out there are available for free, but by and large, the very best ones are paid, and so almost by default, those that temporarily ditch their price tag are often worth considering. This app, which will ordinarily set you back $9.99, is now completely free of charge. Perfect for reading, annotating and generally managing your PDF documents on-the-fly. Please note, however, that this price drop appears only to be applicable to those in North America.

DashCam ($1.99 – FREE / iPhone)

Again fairly self-explanatory, this app will record as you drive, cycle or even boat-ride your way around, and with tracking on location, speed, and other such info, does exactly as it purports. Usual cost is $1.99.

Yet another to-do list; but a good one with a very neat user interface to boot. Usually costs $1.99.

If you’re into your tarot cards, astrology or anything of the sort, you’ll love Pocket Numerologist, and given that this highly-rated app is now free (usually $9.99), there’s even more reason to love it.

Work Time and Work time HD ($2.99 – FREE / iPhone and iPad)

This app offers clock, calendar, weather and scheduler, and would usually cost $2.99 for iPhone and the same for iPad. Luckily, though, they’re currently free, so snap them up while you can.

As covered earlier, this is a must-have for any wannabe DJ. Usually $1.99.

Having begun with a PDF-related app, we’re going to end our round-up in similar fashion. PDF Cabinet’s normal price of $2.99 has dropped to the much more agreeable free, and with an abundance of useful annotation features, is well worth a look.
