The Pangu jailbreak for iOS 7.1.x and up has proved a big hit among Cydia fans, successfully opening the door for the second time on iOS 7 after the initial heroics of the Evad3rs. Although the initial tool was a tad unrefined, the Pangu team has frequently updated the utility for a smoother, more secure jailbreak, and having recently rolled out Pangu 1.2.1 featuring bug fixes and AFC2, those already jailbroken can now reap the benefits of these enhancements directly from Cydia.

The Pangu jailbreaking tool, which covers iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users running iOS 7.1 right up to the current 7.1.2, has just been updated to version 1.2.1 for Windows. The bump fixes a minor issue that would cause crashes with some Windows users, and so if you do plan to jailbreak any of your devices on a Windows PC, then grabbing the very latest version would be very much advised.

Evasi0n7 jailbreak version 1.0.3 is now available to download. As we reported earlier this week, the latest iOS 7.1 beta 3 didn’t patch exploits used by Evasi0n7 jailbreak. While an official version was previously made available to jailbreak iOS 7.1 beta 3, Evad3rs have now released a new version of their popular jailbreak tool to fully support jailbreak on iOS 7.1.
