In a new blog post today, he has announced that he has a working solution to jailbreak & unlock Phone 3GS, 3G, iPod touch 2G, 3G (new bootrom), and most probably the iPad as well. Developer of GreenPois0n – p0sixninja has just posted a long detailed post, clearing out the confusions that many of you may be having regarding GreenPois0n, Chronic Dev Team and their authenticity. According to him, they have have found an exploit in the latest iPhone 3.1.3 firmware which will be able to unlock and jailbreak iPhone 3GS (new bootrom), and iPod touch 3G untethered. All they are now waiting is for the iPad with iPhone 3.2 to hit shelves on April 3rd.

Apple has just released yet another update to iPhone 3.2 SDK for iPad. This Beta 5 of iPhone OS 3.2 SDK for iPad has been released only a week after Beta 4 was released. This release will most probably be the last Beta release as the devices are scheduled to ship with the final version on April 3.

The developer behind Greenpois0n – p0sixninja has just posted a screenshot of his jailbreaking tool for iPhone and iPod touch which is said to now bring support for jailbreaking iPad. For those of you who don’t know, p0sixninja is a member of Chronic Dev Team and they have now tweeted about accepting donations to help them get an iPad in order to help them jailbreak it.

The Loop is reporting that it is possible the iPhone and iPad firmware will not unify until fall of this year. iPad will be released with OS 3.2, but the folks over at The Loop are suggesting the iPhone OS will not be updated until the summer, with the release of new hardware.

The newly released iPhone 3.2 SDK Beta 3 has revealed even more info on what is to come in the upcoming iPhone OS 3.2/4.0 for iPhone and iPad. In addition to supporting video conferencing through a front facing camera and external LED flash, the new firmware will also include built-in tools which will enable to do basic photo editing like crop and rotate directly on device without any third party app.

An anonymous tipster has just dropped us a tip which reads “Apple will demo iPhone OS 4.0 on March 14th”. Digging for more info on this, we found out that Cult of Mac also received a similar a tip yesterday but since 14th March happens to be a Sunday, it is highly unlikely that Apple is going to demo or unveil their new OS on a Sunday morning.
