Apple has just released the iPhone SDK 3.2 on the iPhone Dev Center for developers, interested in developing for iPhone, iPod touch and the newly released iPad. iPhone SDK 3.2 includes the Xcode IDE, iPhone Simulator, and a suite of additional tools for developing applications for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

Apple has just released the final version of iPhone OS 3.2, along with SDK for iPad. This final version of iPhone OS 3.2 and SDK for iPad has been released only a few days before the first batch of iPad pre-orders ships this coming weekend on April 3rd. The last Beta 5 was released on March 18th, and Beta 4 was released earlier this same month. This is an iPad only release.

According to MacRumors, Apple is expected to release iTunes 9.1 on April 3rd, the same day as iPad’s US launch date. This new version of iTunes will bring support for iPad, and a new “Books” section which will replace the existing “Audiobooks” section in the iTunes Store.

Apple has made it official! WiFi models of iPad are coming to US on 3rd April, and you will be able to pre-order it starting from March 12th. The 3G models of iPad however wont be available anytime before late April or May. WiFi model will be starting for as low as $499 for the 16GB version, while the WiFi + 3G model will cost $629 for the 16GB version.

The newly released iPhone 3.2 SDK Beta 3 has revealed even more info on what is to come in the upcoming iPhone OS 3.2/4.0 for iPhone and iPad. In addition to supporting video conferencing through a front facing camera and external LED flash, the new firmware will also include built-in tools which will enable to do basic photo editing like crop and rotate directly on device without any third party app.

All Apple fans and especially the iPhone lovers were much concerned whether the next iPhone will be on its way to market, or not. They may now simply relax. Ingenious tipsters at Engadget, have discovered yet another fascinating fact deep inside the Frameworks of the iPhone OS 3.2 SDK, namely: the codename of the next iPhone. It was discovered buried deep inside the platform simulator set of folders dedicated to specific models of iPhone OS-ready devices, including the iPhone 3GS, second generation iPod touch, something that was called the “K48” (the codename was the internal name for the iPad), and… the “N89.” Sure, it sounds like a Nokia phone just waiting to happen. No this is not Nokia but this according to extremely knowledgeable and trusted sources, is the likely codename of the next iPhone (previous versions were called the M68, N82, and N88).

Apple has announced the availability of iPhone SDK 3.2 Beta for developers to make sure their apps are ready for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch when the iPad is released in exactly two months from now. Members enrolled in the iPhone Developer Standard or Enterprise Program can access the development bits for iPhone OS 3.2 Beta for iPad by signing into Apple Developer Connection.
