Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra To Copy iPhone 17 Pro’s Stunning Cosmic Orange Color

Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max have plenty going for them, and their new Cosmic Orange color has to be towards the top of the list.

Following years of boring Pro colors, the orange is a breath of fresh air. And it seems that Samsung agrees. According to a new leak, the company’s next flagship device could borrow the color for itself.

9to5Google reports that an image showing supposed Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra dummy units shows a model with a now-familiar orange finish. Other colors shown include the more standard silver and gold options. But it’s the orange that is sure to capture most people’s attention.

It’s as-yet unclear whether these images are legitimate and even if they are, there is no guarantee that Samsung will choose to ship it. 9to5Google also notes that there are reasons to think that everything isn’t necessarily as it seems. The image was originally posted to Reddit, but there is a suggestion that it may have been created by AI.

The most notable oddity is that there’s a cropped watermark in the bottom corner of the image of the silver phone. It’s unclear what that is, but the placement and the part of mark we can see aren’t far off from the watermarks Gemini would apply to an AI-generated image.

Regardless, Samsung choosing to borrow something from Apple and the iPhone wouldn’t be unheard of. It wouldn’t be a huge surprise if Samsung did choose to ship an orange phone in the future, especially considering the buzz surrounding Apple’s latest offerings.
