Nike And Beats Announce Collaboration For New Powerbeats Pro Wireless Earbuds

The popular Beats Powerbeats Pro wireless earbuds are available in a new yellow color as part of a collaboration with fitness and sportswear outfit Nike.

The new Nike Special Edition Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds are functionally identical to the other versions, so this is all about the colorway and some integration with Nike Run Club.

The news, announced via press release, points to the iconic swoosh icon on one of the earbuds as well as the famous “JUST DO IT” text on the inside of the charging case. That case comes in matte black with Nike’s Volt yellow speckled atop it.

As for the main features, there’s a combination of the existing tech, like 45-hour battery life and adaptive noise cancelling tech, as well as new integration with Nike’s Run Club.

  • Pro-Level Sound: Adaptive Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) and Transparency mode
  • Biometric Integration: Built-in Heart Rate Monitoring that syncs seamlessly with the Fitness app and Nike Run Club
  • Athlete Endurance: Up to 45 hours of battery life with the charging case and IPX4-rated sweat and water resistance
  • Secure Fit: Signature wrap-around earhooks designed to stay put from the weight room to the 18th green

The new Powerbeats Pro 2 -Nike Special Edition will be available to buy from Friday, March 20, for $249.99 in the United States. They’ll also go on sale in the United Kingdom, China, Japan, Germany, Canada, Australia, Singapore, France, Spain, India, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Hong Kong on the same date.
