Apple continues to be rumored to be launching its first foldable iPhone later this year, and a new leak claims to have shared more details about what it will entail — including buttons, a Dynamic Island, and more.
MacRumors reports that Weibo leaker Instant Digital has shared details about the foldable iPhone’s design ahead of its release.

However, it’s important to remember that the phone is still a number of months away from being announced, which means that Apple’s plans could change.
That being said, the leak claims that:
- Touch ID is built into the power button, which is on the right side of the device, alongside the Camera Control button.
- The volume buttons are placed along the top edge of the device, rather than down the side.
- The front-facing camera uses a hole-punch design, allowing Apple to shrink the dynamic island.
- The back of the device includes an iPhone Air-like camera plateau with horizontally-arranged cameras. A microphone and flash are also present.
- So far, the only color that appears to be confirmed is white, although it’s likely that at least one more color will be offered when the device goes on sale.

It’s also thought that Apple is using an internal structure that uses a stacked design in an attempt to make better use of space and allow for a larger battery.
If everything goes the way the rumors predict, Apple will announce the foldable iPhone alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max this September.
