Netflix Has A New Look For Apple TV 4K Owners

Netflix has started to roll out a new look for its Apple TV app, months after it was announced. The update is now available for Apple TV owners.

The changes have been spotted by people across Reddit and other forms of social media, although not everyone will notice the new changes — you need to make sure that you’re running the latest version of the Netflix app to ensure you’re using the new interface.

The new interface is designed to make it easier to find the content that you want, with shortcuts to Search and My List now found at the top of the page rather than inside a side panel.

The app also now looks more like a native Apple TV app, despite still using Netflix’s design language rather than the default Apple interface.

The moving of the Home, Shows, Movies, and other tabs to the top of the screen is the biggest change that most people will notice — especially those of us who have been frustrated by the way the previous Netflix experience seemed to actively hide content and show categories.

Other changes include improved recommendations based on your interests, as well as an overall cleaner look that will make Apple TV owners immediately feel more at home.

Again, make sure that you’re using the latest version of the Netflix app if you aren’t yet seeing the new look.
