Here are iOS 26.1 beta 1 new features, changes and release notes for iPhone and iPad that you may want to check out before updating to the new firmware.
As you may already know by now, Apple today has released beta of iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1 to developers.

Here we take a look at everything that is new in this update, including official release notes that are provided by Apple for both iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1 beta 1.

- New video scrubber controls in Photos app
- Bottom controls in Safari are now wider
- Phone app keypad now uses Liquid Glass for the numbers.
- Controls in the Photos app are now frosted so they are actually visible in screenshots
- AutoMix over AirPlay is now fixed
- New Apple Intelligence languages added: Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Portuguese (Portugal), Swedish, Turkish, Chinese (Traditional), and Vietnamese.
- AirPods Live Translation Languages added: Japanese, Korean, Italian, and Chinese (both Mandarin Traditional and Simplified).
