Here are all the iOS 26 beta 4 release notes, new features and changes that you as an iPhone or iPad user need to know about.
As you may already know by now, Apple has today finally released beta 4 of iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 to developers.

While we are still waiting for Apple to release first public beta, we have installed the developer beta 4 on our devices and have noticed some changes in this seed.
Here’s everything new or changed in iOS 26 beta 4:
- Liquid Glass is back and more liquidy compared to beta 3. In beta 3 it was likely a glitch that caused Liquid Glass effect to go off in some places. Apple seems to have fixed it in beta 4.
- Summarized notifications now display “SUMMARIZED BY APPLE INTELLIGENCE” notice on the bottom.
- App icons look sharper and less blurry.
- The camera app icon has undergone a change. The darker camera ring in the dark mode icon is significantly darker, while the brighter inner ring in the light mode icon has become more prominent.
- iOS 26 default wallpaper now has a dynamic option.
- Apple News app gets Summarize Notifications feature.
- The Phone app now offers updated settings for silencing unknown callers and managing the new call screening feature.
This is all we have discovered so far in iOS 26 beta 4. We will of course update this post if we find any other new change not already mentioned above. If you have installed beta 4 and have discovered something we haven’t yet, feel free to share with us in comments section below.
Apple is expected to release first public beta of iOS 26 and others tomorrow. We will of course be back with a report on it as soon as it’s available to download. Stay tuned.
