iOS 26 Beta 3 Changes And New Features All In One Place

Here are iOS 26 beta 3 changes and new features that you as an iPhone or iPad (in case of iPadOS 26 beta 3) needs to know about.

As you may already know by now, Apple has released third beta of iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 today. This release comes couple of weeks after beta 2 and about a month after initial beta 1 which was announced back in early June.

We have already installed both iOS 26 beta 3 and iPadOS 26 beta 3 and are currently in process of testing and spotting any changes compared to beta 2. We will be constantly updating the changes list here so be sure to come back and check the updated list later as well.

Here we go:

  • Liquid Glass has been toned down further in beta 3.
  • The stock wallpaper now has 4 variant options
  • Lock Screen widgets now show all the time
  • Exiting from StandBy mode no longer reset clock size
  • SIM card Lock Screen now covers the entire display
  • Opening link in background no longer freezes Safari
  • The passcode screen on Lock Screen now darkens the wallpaper
  • Safari address bar is now frosted for better visibility
  • High contrast mode now applies to more UI elements
