iOS 13.3 Jailbreak With Checkra1n Likely To Come Soon In The Form Of New Update

iOS 13.3 jailbreak with checkra1n update might become a reality soon. Here’s everything you need to know about this.

The power of the bootrom exploit is likely to strike again as far as modern jailbreaking is concerned. With the incoming iOS/iPadOS 13.3 update, it is highly probable that the checkra1n jailbreak will be updated offering compatibility with supported hardware running iOS/iPadOS 13.3.

As long as there is a bootrom-based jailbreak in existence, Apple will continue to be frustrated when it launches a new firmware version for its iPhone and iPad hardware which are vulnerable to it. As we should all know by now, the checkra1n jailbreak is made possible by a not-so-little exploit known as checkm8.

And yes, you guessed it, checkm8 is bootrom-based. This, of course, means that Apple cannot prevent iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 from being liberated on supported and compatible hardware once checkra1n has been updated.

At a very high-level, the power of the checkm8 exploit means that it can be utilized by the checkra1n jailbreak team to execute and inject the jailbreak payload before the operating system layer even gets a chance to thrust itself into action. When those developers and security researchers can play around at that very low-level on the device, the possibilities almost become endless. From a user-facing perspective, it simply means that all firmware versions from iOS 12.3 – including future releases – are jailbreakable as long as they are running on an iPhone 5s up to iPhone X.

There hasn’t been any official announcement from the checkra1n team pertaining to an update impending to support iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 but we can use history and an educated guess to predict that the release will be coming sooner rather than later. The currently available version of the checkra1n jailbreak is 0.9.6, which, as you may have guessed, means that the tool is pre-version 1.0, meaning that it is still classed as being in beta. With the next release, likely to support iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3, we don’t envisage the beta tag being removed from the download.

With iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 now out, If you have iPhone 5s through iPhone X and are planning to update because iOS/iPadOS 13.3 has something that you want, then we’d suggest that you sit tight until the checkra1n release comes through with support.
