With Amazon’s next big Prime Day event now just around the corner, the retailer is offering customers the chance to try its Prime subscription for free for six months.

Amazon Prime Days are often a great way to pick up an array of products at discounted prices, but you’ll need to be an Amazon Prime member to do so.

Amazon often offers deals that give people the chance to try the Prime membership out, and it’s getting ready for the big Amazon Prime event by offering a full six months trial.

For Students

Signing up to Amazon Prime is easy, and this six-month deal is available to people aged 18 to 24 and students, with a 5% cashback also offered. Note that once the trial ends, you’ll need to pay $7.49 per month unless you choose to cancel the subscription.

Here’s how to sign up.

Step 1: Head on over to Amazon here and click the “Try Prime for Young Adults” button.

Step 2: Enter your details, including your name and date of birth.

Step 3: You’ll need to sign into Amazon to move forward or, if you don’t have an account, you’ll need to create one.

Step 4: You’ll have to go through the usual one-time password security checks, which include sending a code to your email address. Copy that code into the web page and click Verify to progress.

Step 5: Enter your credit card information or select an existing payment method.

And that’s all there is to it. You now have access to Amazon Prime for Young Adults and can enjoy all of the benefits associated with it for six full months. Just remember to cancel the subscription if you don’t want ton keep it after that trial comes to a close.
