Apple has just released for download iOS 26.3 beta 2 alongside the beta 2 versions of iPadOS 26.3, macOS 26.3, tvOS 26.3, watchOS 26.3, and visionOS 26.3 for compatible devices.
The release comes a few days after the turn of the year and marks the release of the first beta updates of 2026. It’s also likely to be a few weeks ahead of the final release of these updates to the public, although no official release data has been shared so far.

It’s still early days for these new betas, so information on new features is hard to come by. We do know that Apple has added a new way for iPhone users in the EU to easily forward notifications to connected third-party wearables.
To download iOS 26.3 beta 2 and others, head over to Settings > General > Software Update section of the device itself and grab the OTA update of the 26.3 update from there. Alternatively, you can download iOS 26.3 beta 2 as an IPSW file from developer.apple.com and update to it using iTunes on Windows or Finder on Mac.
While iOS 26.3 beta 2 is currently only available to users on the Apple Developer Program, it’s expected to be seeded to those registered on the Apple Public Beta Software Program as well, likely relatively soon after today’s release. We will, of course, update you on when that happens.

If we find any new feature other than the ones mentioned above, we will, of course, share them with you on RedmondPie. If you have spotted something we haven’t in iOS 26.3, feel free to share it with us in the comments section below.
