In a surprise move, Apple today has released iOS 26 beta 9 OTA profile update and IPSW links for iPhone users. This release comes a week after beta 8 and it’s likely to be the last beta seed before RC version.
Alongside iOS 26 beta 9, Apple has also released beta 9 of iPadOS 26, macOS 26, tvOS 26, visionOS 26 and watchOS 26.

With Apple’s fall iPhone event set for next week, it’s likely that after the keynote, Apple will make RC version of iOS 26 available to download for developers, with final public version slated for a week later.
To get iOS 26 beta 9, head over to Settings > General > Software Update section of the device and then download and install the OTA update from there. You can also install via IPSW links method by downloading the required file from developer.apple.com and then updating using Finder on Mac or iTunes on Windows.
With Apple’s ‘Awe Dropping’ event only a week away from today, we expect Apple to announce iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, alongside AirPods Pro 3, Apple Watch Ultra 3 and a new Apple TV 4K.

We will of course be covering everything from Apple’s event live come September 9, make sure you tune to us to get all the latest hardware and software announcements to come from Cupertino.
