Alongside the release of iOS 26.2, Apple has also made final version of iPadOS 26.2, macOS 26.2, tvOS 26.2, watchOS 26.2, and visionOS 26.2 updates available for download. This comes after weeks of beta testing.
While none of these new releases bring with them huge new changes, we always suggest updating wherever possible. These updates often bring with them bug fixes and security updates that are well worth having whenever possible.
There are, however, still some changes that are worth noting. Apple has continued to tweak the way its Liquid Glass interface looks and works across the board,
You can head over to Settings > General > Software Update section of the device itself to grab the OTA update on your respective devices. On the Mac, Edge Light helps brighten your face on FaceTime calls by lighting the edge of the display. Apple has also added a new urgent reminders feature so you will never miss anything vital again.
Over on the Apple Watch, there are changes to the way your Sleep Score is displayed as well as a fix for a bug that prevented Apple Music from playing the next song in a playlist. Apple also added Enhanced Safety Alerts that notify the wearer of floods and other emergencies.
Apple TV owners can now create new profiles even if they don’t have an Apple Account. Children’s accounts are also now limited in terms of the age-gated content they can view.
