Android 2.3.1 Gingerbread has been finally released for iPhone 3G, 2G and iPod touch (1st-gen). Android ports for iPhone 4, iPad and iPhone 3GS are said to be coming soon.

Apple has started airing a new iPhone 4 commercial which brings two of the largest American cellular networks together on-screen.
It looks like Google has started rolling out Android 2.3.2 OTA (Over-The-Air) update for Google Nexus S users. The update is officially marked as Android 2.3.2 Build GRH78C and it is just 600KB in size. While we are not sure about the full official change log yet, but what we know is that it has fixed that nasty SMS bug which used to send text messages to wrong contacts.

Shortly after announcing their fourth quarter earnings, Google announced that their Co-Founder Larry Page is going to replace Eric Schmidt as CEO of the company. Schmidt is going to takeover as Chairman of Google.
Well it looks like iOS 4.3 Beta 2 has more stuff secretly hiding deep inside the firmware. An Italian blog iPhoneItalia has now uncovered thumbnails for crop and rotate functionality which indicates the arrival of this feature for basic image editing natively in future iOS versions.
BGR has got hold of some exclusive screenshots which shows multitouch gestures options for iPhone 4, similar to what we saw for iPad in iOS 4.3 Beta 1. The screenshots are apparently taken from an iPhone 4 unit which is currently being tested internally at the Apple’s Cupertino campus.
Well that was fast ! Apple has just seeded second beta of iOS 4.3 to developers. And as always, this build is meant for developers only. Only members enrolled in the iPhone Developer Standard or Enterprise Program can access these bits of by signing into Apple Developer Connection.
Impressed with how Microsoft dealt with the Chevron WP7 (Windows Phone 7 jailbreak/unlock) team, Geohot updated his site today with a small message that read: “perhaps a more appropriate way to deal with jailbreakers I'm going out to buy a Windows 7 phone”.
Apple has just posted record earnings for Q1 2011. They have managed to sold 16.24 million iPhones, 7.33 million iPads, 19.45 million iPods, 4.13 million Macs, and made around $26.74 billion in revenue. With these statistics, the Cupertino-based company once again has broken its own previous records.
