Apple’s F1 Movie Sees McDonalds Offer Mini Racing Cars, But There’s a Catch

As Apple gets ready to premiere F1 The Movie this week, the company has struck a deal with McDonald’s that could see some burger fans get a miniature racing car. Unfortunately, the deal only appears to be on offer to customers in Latin America.

The new limited-time McMenu F1 The Movie combo can be found in Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico, 9to5Mac reports.

Customers in Brazil can buy the Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese combo and choose to pay an additional R$64.00 (currently around $11.60) to get their hands on one of two model F1 cars. One of the 1:43 scale cars features McDonald’s famous color scheme, while the other is based on the fictional racing team from the movie, APXGP.

McDonald’s confirmed the new partnership with Apple via a statement from the company’s Chief Marketing Officer for Brazil.

McDonald’s and Formula 1 are brands that span generations, driven by passions that renew each season — whether through memories tied to our brand or the thrill of the track. With the launch of the combo featuring the new Bacon Quarter Pounder and exclusive collectible cars, we want to celebrate that connection with sports fans and collectors, offering an experience that goes beyond the meal. It’s about strengthening bonds, sparking memories, and inspiring new stories around a shared passion.

There is currently no sign of similar offers in other countries, including the United States. F1 The Movie premieres around the globe today, June 25, but those in the United States will have to wait until June 27 to check it out. An Apple TV+ debut is expected in the future, too.
