Apple TV’s first Formula 1 race weekend is behind it, and CEO Tim Cook has continued the promotion by sharing a short video to drive home Apple’s new streaming offering.
The clip takes place at a wet Apple Park and shows Tim Cook driving a golf buggy around the campus.

He soon pulls up alongside Dutch F1 racer Max Verstappen, with the whole thing shown as a pit stop situation.
The video, which can be streamed on social media and via YouTube, is just the latest example of Apple pulling out all the stops to promote the fact that Apple TV is the new home of F1 racing in the United States.
Apple signed a multi-year deal to make Apple TV the exclusive partner for live coverage in the United States, with last weekend’s Australian GP kicking things off. The Apple TV app will be the home of practice sessions, qualifying, the Spring race, and Grand Prix each race weekend.
Notably, Apple isn’t charging viewers an additional fee to watch F1 race weekends. Instead, all subscribers to Apple TV can watch without any additional fees. Footage is streamed in 4K Dolby Vision, with multiple on-board camera feeds creating a unique viewing experience that has so far been well received by race fans.
