Apple has continued its ramp-up of Formula 1 presence ahead of its live race weekend coverage for the 2026 season by adding GP locations to Apple Maps.
Apple Maps users can now view a detailed 3D version of the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Australian Grand Prix 2026.

It’s expected that other race circuits will be added, too. The Australian GP is the first of the season, so it’s no surprise that it’s the first to be added to Apple Maps.
The new F1 maps experience includes 3D modeled grandstands and bridges as well as information on walking directions for your grandstand of choice. Restrooms and other points of interest are also present, too.
Race fans will also note that turn numbers are available throughout the circuit, while landmaps around the location can also be seen.

For the Australian GP, those landmarks include AAMI Park, Eureka Tower, Luna Park, Marvel Stadium, Rod Laver Arena, the Royal Exhibition Building, the Shrine of Remembrance, and St. Paul’s Cathedral, according to a 9to5Mac report.
Apple Maps users can also take in a new 2026 Formula 1 Tracks Around the World Guide within the app, with information about all 24 GP circuits included. More, detailed maps for the other 23 circuits will be added throughout the year.
