Agree with changsheng. Either they will modify the OS to support their hardware keys, or you won't get any upgrade on it.

If they would confirm whether or not this phone is getting Windows 7, I'd get one today.

But without confirmation... Thanks, but no thanks.

Microsoft is really trying to dig themselves into a hole... they already have a huge hurdle ahead of them trying to catch up with the success of Android and iOS, so you think they would make Windows Phone 7 backwards-compatible with all phones that meet hardware specs...

The more phones there are already available that are able to support and upgrade to Windows Phone 7, the quicker the acceptance of the new OS.. Anyone who recently bought a WinMo 6.5 phone is not going to want to buy another new phone to get Windows Phone 7. They are going to just want to upgrade their device.

I guess MS doesn't see it the same way, but then again Steve Ballmer hasn't always made the best decisions for MS as its CEO.

Oh this topic... The bad news is: Microsoft has confirmed that their phone Windows 7 Series 3 chassis guidelines will be substantially prevented most if not all currently available phones with Windows to receive updates WP7, which is scheduled to launch later this year. Nice to visit your site. Wish you post another good topic like this. I will wait to read it.
