There are still a number of bugs in the HTC HD2 that should be fixed before issuing OS updates. Of biggest concern is slow/delayed SMS, and pink hues from the video camera, which previous HTC patches have failed to resolve. There are also volume control issues, and issues with multi-touch.

HTC seems to be spending more effort getting its new version of the Sense interface sent out, to impress people in the store, instead of fixing annoying bugs that are apparent after using the handset for a longer-term.

Do you need a special HD2 Hardware version? Would the versions form the UK work, since the G3 is 2100/1700Mgz? Does the ROM set the correct radio freq?
