We are announcing the availability of Windows Home Server as a part of TechNet Plus and MSDN subscription downloads. Both TechNet Plus and MSDN subscribers can now evaluate Windows Home Server without any time limits what’s so ever.

What is Windows Home Server?

Windows Home Server was designed for households and home-based businesses that have more than one personal computer. Your life has gone digital – it is time to simplify your life so you can easily access your files, photos, videos and music from any PC or TV in your home, or even while away from home.

All the three Windows Home Server disks – the Connector CD, the Installation DVD and the Restore CD can be downloaded from the subscribers download section of both TechNet and MSDN as illustrated from the screenshot above.

This is a real good news for all the TechNet and MSDN subscribers who love Windows Home Server.

UPDATE: It looks like Windows Home Server has been pulled off from both TechNet and MSDN. Stay tuned as we will keep you updated on exactly what is happening.

UPDATE 2: The availability of Windows Home Server is back on both TechNet and MSDN. Subscribers of these two services can now download full version of Windows Home Server without any time limits.
