It seems everyone wants their own app store these days, and if these leaked screenshots are to be believed, Microsoft is no different.

Leaked by Chinese site CNBeta, the four individual shots do look to be real, though their legitimacy is as yet unconfirmed.

Appearing to show a Microsoft app store, the screenshots show a Mac OS X Lion -like app store running on Windows 7. Both Microsoft and 3rd party apps are present, with the usual category and filtering options appearing to be present.

Interestingly. Apple and Microsoft are currently locked in a legal batter as to whether the term ‘app store’ is a generic or not, with both companies turning to linguists to plead their respective cases.

Windows 8 leaks have been steadily finding their way onto the Internet for a couple of weeks now, with new screenshots appearing on a regular basis.
